Training Lead – Paracord (Clip or Slip)

The Paracord Training Lead is designed for focused work and everyday manners where too much lead just gets in the way. Short, responsive, and easy to handle, it keeps your dog close while you work on engagement, loose lead walking, neutrality around distractions, or calm movement through busy spaces.

A small lead that makes a big difference in how clearly you and your dog move together.

Build

Each lead is hand braided using paracord, creating a strong, lightweight lead that feels comfortable in the hand while still giving you precise control.

You can choose between:

• Lightweight Paracord – thinner and softer, ideal for puppies, smaller dogs, or handlers who prefer a lighter feel.

• Standard Paracord – slightly thicker with more grip, well suited for bigger dogs or stronger pullers.

Paracord is quick drying, lightweight, and durable, making it a reliable choice for everyday training and outdoor use.

Available lengths:

• 30 cm – tight heel work and close control

• 50 cm – balanced training length

• 70 cm – a little more freedom while maintaining control

Lead Style

Choose the setup that best suits your training style:

• Clip Lead – quick and easy to attach to a collar or harness.

• Slip Training Lead – ideal for situations where smooth, fast on/off handling is helpful.

If selecting the Slip Training Lead, an extra 20–50 cm (depending on the neck measurement provided) is automatically added. This ensures that once the slip sits comfortably on your dog’s neck, you still have your chosen working length in hand.

End of Lead

Braided Loop – a soft, all-paracord finish with no additional metal at the end of the lead.

Can easily have another lead or long line clipped to them if needed.

Care Instructions

After muddy, wet, or salty adventures, give your gear a quick rinse with fresh water and allow it to dry thoroughly. This simple step helps keep everything looking good and performing well for years to come.

Shipping Information

Ready-Made Gear: Dispatched within 1–4 business days.
Custom Orders: Dispatched within 1–3 weeks.

During busy periods or the festive season, custom orders may take a little longer.

Once your order leaves us, delivery times depend on the courier network and occasional delays outside our control may occur.

Returns and Refunds

Because many of our products are made to order, we’re unable to accept returns or offer refunds for incorrect sizing. Please double-check your measurements before placing your order.

This does not apply to faulty items. If you receive a product with a fault, please email us at wagandwander.petservice@gmail.com with a photo and description so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Repair Services

Dogs will be dogs, and sometimes gear takes the hit.

If your product becomes damaged, send us an email and we’ll chat through repair options. Whenever possible, we’ll repair rather than replace to help reduce waste and extend the life of your gear.

We’re also happy to look at repairs on non Wag & Wander Wardrobe items where possible. If it can be saved, we’ll do our best to keep it out of landfill.
