Possum Tugs have been a long time coming. After years of playing around with different tug designs, we’ve finally landed on the one.
Inspired by our OG paracord leads, each tug is hand braided from paracord, with a built-in handle and New Zealand possum tail woven directly through the braid.
Designed for interactive play, training and a seriously good game of tug!
Build
Each Possum Tug is hand braided using paracord, with natural NZ possum woven through the braid for added scent, texture and movement.
Available in two sizes, because one size doesn’t fit all.
As possum is a natural material, every tug will vary slightly in colour, thickness and length. Pricing reflects the length of possum used.
Why Possum?
Tug gives dogs an appropriate outlet for natural behaviours like chasing, grabbing and pulling.
The scent, texture and movement of possum creates a high-value reward that’s great for training, engagement, building toy drive and breed fulfilment — while making play something you and your dog do together.
Important Stuff
This is a purposeful training and interactive play toy, not a chew toy.
The possum has been treated and is not suitable for consumption. Always supervise play and put your tug away once you’re finished.
Prolonged chewing will also weaken the paracord over time, so regularly check your tug for wear.
